Warner Robins, GA — Robins Financial Credit Union lives out their mission every day to be Member Focused, Financial Partners and Community Proud. They supported their community in numerous ways in 2022, as reflected in their Community Impact Report.

Robins Financial invested over $730,000 into their community in 2022 through charitable donations to 163 local non-profit organizations. Some of these donations and sponsorships included Robins Financial’s annual Community Project, which provides a higher level of giving to non-profits focused on improving their communities and saw $410,000 donated to 21 local organizations; their annual employee fundraising campaign for United Way of Central Georgia, which saw over $115,000 raised; and their annual employee fundraising campaign for Children’s Miracle Network, which benefits their local Children’s Hospital in Macon, Georgia and saw nearly $30,000 raised to support children in their community.

Robins Financial also focuses on education in their community, with several local colleges and high schools partnering with Robins Financial to provide financial education to their students. Over 400 classes were taught by Robins Financial employees to more than 6,000 local students to provide financial literacy education. Robins Financial also supports education through their other programs including their annual scholarship, which saw over $50,000 awarded to their members pursuing higher education, as well as their new GRANTED program which grants the wish lists of local educators and saw more than $28,000 awarded to 14 teachers in their community to provide classroom supplies and equipment for their students.

Employees of the credit union are also encouraged to give back to their community, and volunteered over 600 hours with local charities. Employees also collected items for donations to organizations in need throughout the year, including more than 1,000 pairs of socks donated to local students through Merrie’s Closet, over 1,000 loads of laundry detergent for Brookdale Resource Center, and more than 5,000 diapers for United Way of Central Georgia to distribute to families in need.

“Our hope is that the impacts made in the communities we serve are far greater than the amounts listed on our report,” said Dee Dee Côté, Chief Administrative Officer with Robins Financial Credit Union. “We strive to do our part in building stronger communities and supporting the people in those communities. We are living out our mission to be Member Focused, Financial Partners, and Community Proud.”

Robins Financial Credit Union is a local non-profit financial cooperative with twenty-two branches in central Georgia. Robins Financial currently provides financial services to over 260,000 members, with assets exceeding $4.3 billion.
