VolCorp Announces Strategic Partnership with ACUSi

NASHVILLE, TN – Volunteer Corporate Credit Union has announced a strategic partnership with ACUSi, a credit union service organization (CUSO) wholly owned by Alabama Credit Union in Tuscaloosa, AL, offering a full-service indirect auto lending program. This decision will grant member credit unions access to the growing company’s suite of innovative lending solutions including dealer representation, loan decisioning, and a complete funding department.

Symphony, LLC, VolCorp’s wholly owned consulting services CUSO, will work with ACUSi to enhance this service offering and provide for the administrative and regulatory requirements needed to implement an indirect lending program for credit unions.

“ACUSi’s innovative lending solutions give credit unions the flexibility and competitive edge they need in today’s financial landscape. By partnering with ACUSi, we’re expanding our suite of services to offer more tailored lending options to help credit unions grow and better serve their members,” said Jeff Merry, President and CEO, VolCorp. “Their expertise makes them the perfect match for VolCorp, and we look forward to the long-term success this collaboration will bring to our credit unions.”

Some credit unions have already found success utilizing ACUSi’s expertise, including Chattanooga Federal Employee Credit Union CEO, Mark Fraker. “It was a no-brainer for us to sign on with ACUSi for indirect lending. It allowed us to dabble in indirect lending without any upfront investment or expertise.”

“We are extremely excited about joining forces with VolCorp and expanding our reach in the Southeast,” said Joe Hardy, President of ACUSi. “When you look at our shared commitment to the credit union movement and our complementary visions for supporting that movement, this partnership is a natural fit.”
