SRP Federal Credit Union Spreads Holiday Cheer Through “Surprise and Delight” Community Giveaways

North Augusta, SC — SRP Federal Credit Union has been spreading joy across the CSRA this season through its heartwarming “Surprise and Delight” initiative. Members of SRP’s Culture Committee have been out in the community visiting local gas stations and grocery stores, surprising community members by paying for their fuel and groceries—no strings attached.

These unexpected acts of kindness have brought smiles, relief, and gratitude to individuals and families throughout the region. Whether easing the cost of a tank of gas or helping with a week’s worth of groceries, SRP’s goal is simple: to brighten someone’s day and remind the community that kindness is alive and well.

“At SRP, we believe in giving back in meaningful ways,” said Douglass Morris, Chief Technology Officer and advisor for the Culture Committee. “Our ‘Surprise and Delight’ efforts are a reflection of the credit union philosophy of People Helping People. We are proud to share joy with our neighbors and continue supporting the communities we serve.”

The initiative is just one example of SRP Federal Credit Union’s ongoing commitment to community engagement, compassion, and service. By meeting people where they are, often in moments of everyday stress, SRP hopes to make a lasting positive impact during the holiday season and beyond.

Good things are happening at SRP, and the credit union looks forward to continuing its tradition of service and generosity throughout the year.
