Fort Walton Beach, Fla. (April 23, 2025) – Eglin Federal Credit Union is pleased to congratulate Card Services Manager Alicia Kennedy for 25 years of service. Alicia currently resides in Fort Walton Beach.
“Over the past 25 years, Alicia has been a steadfast presence at Eglin FCU, contributing in various roles throughout her tenure. Her dedication and reliability have been instrumental in maintaining the smooth operation of our team,” said SVP/Chief Payments Officer Dawn Oravetz. “We appreciate Alicia’s consistent effort and commitment to getting the job done, and we look forward to her continued contributions in the years to come.”
Alicia joined the Credit Union in 2000 as a Special Services Representative at our Fort Walton Beach Branch. Four years later, she was promoted to Senior Membership Officer. In 2005, Alicia was promoted to Senior Teller at the Mary Esther Branch, and then was promoted to Head Teller one year later. In 2018, she was promoted to Senior Auditor in the Auditing department. Three years later, Alicia was promoted to Card Services Manager in the Payment Systems department.
After her celebration, Alicia shared, “Throughout my years here, I’ve had the opportunity to work in various branches and departments, gaining a comprehensive view of the Credit Union from the front lines to the behind-the-scenes operations. This experience has provided me with an invaluable perspective, and I truly appreciate how seamlessly everything integrates. I have a deep affection for our Payments Systems team, where the spirit of collaboration and mutual support is evident. It genuinely feels like a family here.”
