Alloya Hosts Its Eleventh Annual Leadership Symposium in Boston

Naperville, Ill. (September 16, 2025) – Alloya Corporate Federal Credit Union hosted its eleventh annual Credit Union Leadership Symposium from September 3-5 in Boston, Massachusetts, with a record showing of 290 professionals representing 179 credit unions and 25 states.

“The tremendous amount of support we have received from our credit union attendees enables us to continue building on the event to make the Leadership Symposium improve every year,” reflected Tim Bruculere, Senior Vice President of Membership at Alloya. “We are grateful to have such supportive members who take the time out of their schedules to join us for our annual event.”

This year’s Symposium equipped attendees to move into the future with confidence, giving them the tools to lead, adapt, innovate and thrive in a quickly changing industry. Best-selling author Nancy Giordano kicked off the event with an inspiring keynote on visionary leadership in today’s world. Other headlining speakers included Megan Freshour, Incubation Director at Filene Research Institute, cybersecurity expert Nick Espinosa and Todd Cetnar, CEO of Cetnar Consulting Group. In addition, nationally acclaimed economist Elliot Eisenberg shared his insights on navigating the current economic landscape, and Alloya’s own Tom Slefinger gave his signature economic update. Last but not least, Alloya was honored to host Mike Eruzione, captain of the 1980 Olympic gold medal-winning U.S. Hockey team, who delivered a moving keynote on how to overcome obstacles by adopting the mentality of going for the gold.

During his Annual Report, Todd Adams, Alloya’s Chief Executive Officer, celebrated a groundbreaking accomplishment for Alloya and several of its partners, who completed the credit union network’s first-ever multi-issuer prime auto loan asset-backed securitization (ABS).

“It was not easy to accomplish this historic milestone, but these credit unions worked well together and cleared several hurdles to create a path for other credit unions to follow. Alloya’s mission is to support credit union success and simplify their back office lives – mission accomplished,” remarked Adams.

Keeping with tradition, attendees had numerous opportunities to connect with fellow credit union peers from across the nation, exchange ideas and build valuable relationships. This year, attendees enjoyed a live baseball game between the Cleveland Guardians and the Boston Red Sox at historic Fenway Park, including a meet and greet opportunity with two- time MLB World Series Champion, American League MVP and seven-time Cy Young Award winner Roger Clemens. The following evening saw a memorable opportunity for networking during dinner at Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse and The Capital Grille, and back by popular demand, Alloya’s Football Night at The Westin Copley Place.

“Thank you to everyone who took the time to join us in Boston. We look forward to welcoming you in Nashville next year for more education, networking and leadership inspiration,” Bruculere concluded.
