(Aug. 6, 2024) — AmFirst announced today that it provided 55,000 meals to Alabamians during the month of July through the Feeding Families Across Alabama Food Drive. The drive was undertaken in partnership with the Community Food Bank of Central Alabama and Sinclair Broadcasting.
AmFirst collected nearly 18,000 pounds of food for the drive across all participating branches. The credit union also presented a gift of $10,000 to the Community Food Bank of Central Alabama, funding 40,000 additional meals.
