Greg Jamison, a 31-year employee, has been promoted from consumer loan manager to loan servicing manager.
Jamison began working at Atlanta Postal in September 1986. In his time at the credit union, he worked as a consumer lending representative, collections representative, mortgage loan officer, mortgage manager and, most recently, consumer loan manager.

May 23rd, 2018081LGE Community Credit Union team members recently surprised a local high school student in front of a classroom full of her peers to share some big news — she'd just won the credit union's $5,000 Community Service Scholarship.
Laura Key, a senior from Walton High School, was also later recognized at a Cobb County School District board meeting, according to a Marietta Daily Journal article.
High school seniors from around Cobb County submitted applications for the LGE Community Services Scholarship to their respective principals. Each of the 16 high school principals then hand-selected a nominee from their school.

The Mike and Lynn Cottrell Junior Acheivement Discovery Center at North Georgia is under construction and set to begin serving students this fall, according to a Calhoun Times article.

May 16th, 20180104Georgia United Credit Union recently announced eight schools from across the state that have won its fifth Annual School Crashers program. Rock Chapel Elementary School has won the grand prize.
Georgia United opened nominations for School Crashers program nominations to all accredited K-12 schools in Georgia. Interested schools were required to include a photograph along with a 250-word statement explaining why their school should receive a makeover.
This year's winners are Title 1 schools withcompelling needs that are not typically met through school system SPLOST or capital improvement programs.

Peach State has awarded almost $1.3 million in scholarships to students and career professionals seeking to further their education since 2002. This year, credit union staff and representatives from the Board of Directors gathered with the recipients of its four different types of scholarships and grants.

May 16th, 20180115Robins Financial Credit Union recently donated both money and time to the Macon Area Habitat for Humanity.
In addition to a monetary corporate donation, a team of Robins Financial Credit Union employees met at a home in Lynmore Estates for Habitat's "Women Build Day." The women worked on three habitat houses, completing project such as insulation, vinyl siding and exterior painting.
Robins Financial Credit Union has partnered with the Macon Area Habitat for Humanity since 2008, and employees have frequently donated their time to construct Habitat homes.
May 11th, 2018088Delta Community Credit Union recently awarded $100 savings accounts to 13 metro Atlanta students.
The students won the accounts by submitting winning entries into the credit union's third annual Youth Month Essay Contest, which the credit union hosted during National Credit Union Youth Savings Month in April.
