The second annual benefit for MDE School will be hosted at Red Hare Brewery. Tickets will cost $35 and will give participants access to live music, BBQ, local craft beer, raffle and a silent auction. Proceeds will go towards the purchase of new school fitness equipment and a renovation for the MDE School playground.

September 5th, 2018087Delta Community Credit Union recently awarded $7,000 to a non-profit that provides social support for local Latino families and children.
In a ceremony held at Delta Community's Vinings branch, COO Matthew Shepherd awarded the grant to Ser Familia, Inc., according to a Marietta Daily Journal article. The money will be used to support Spanish-language mental health counseling for Latino youth.
