Delta Community Credit Union recently announced the recipients of its annual Philanthropic Fund grant program.

The credit union will invest $100,000 in 24 organizations throughout 2019. Each of the organizations, which support metro Atlanta children and families, will receive anywhere from $1,000 to $10,000.

United 1st Federal Credit Union recently donated more than $1,000 as well as 200 pounds of dog food, treats, blankets and toys to a local animal shelter.
The credit union hosted a collection box in its lobby for an entire month so members could donate cash and supplies to Faithful Hearts Animal Shelter. On Dec. 1, United 1st hosted a fundraising event at the Eastman Service Center during which the public was invited to bring their children and pets to be photographed with Santa.
