Donations collected at Georgia United Credit Union branch locations provided 2,470 gifts to children in the foster care system in 10 Georgia counties.

The campaign, led by the Georgia Center for Nonprofits, joined together nonprofits, businesses, media partners and thousands of individual Georgians to lead a statewide generosity movement which generated 73 percent more donations than last year. Robins Financial employees created Christmas gift boxes for donations to the Meals on Wheels of Houston County's "Shoeboxes for the Elderly" program. The packages contained a variety of items from games to personal care. These presents will be delivered to Meals on Wheels recipients for the holidays.
