The two recipients are Lauren Cruickshank from Columbus High School and Georgia King from Smiths Station High School. Lauren plans to attend Harvard University while majoring in Government. Her goal is to attend Harvard University School of Law. Georgia plans to attend Auburn University while majoring in History. Her goal is to become a Curator.

Altamaha joined forces with Interstate Credit Union and Marshland Credit Union to collectively donate $7,500 to The Hanger for start-up costs to provide no-cost new clothes to area students in need. In addition to the corporate donation, a team of Robins Financial Credit Union employees met at a home for the “Annual Work Day.” The employee volunteer team completed projects like staining an entry ramp, painting the exterior of home, pressure washing and various lawn care tasks like planting flowers and trimming shrubbery.
