New location deepens VyStar’s investment in one of South Georgia’s growing communities.
POOLER, GA – As Pooler continues to grow as a destination for families and businesses, VyStar Credit Union is expanding access to financial services with the opening of its newest branch at 2131 Pooler Parkway. VyStar leaders, employees, community partners and local officials gathered Wednesday to celebrate the new location with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The new location marks VyStar’s second full-service branch in Chatham County and strengthens the credit union’s commitment to serving the greater Savannah region.
Through its newest branch, VyStar is deepening its investment in the Savannah area by providing convenient access to personalized financial guidance, lending solutions and everyday banking services.
“Pooler’s growth reflects the strength of a community where families are putting down roots and businesses are investing for the future,” said Brad Filbert, VyStar Chief Retail Officer. “Opening this branch allows VyStar to grow alongside the community, providing greater access to the financial services and guidance our members need while deepening our investment in the Savannah region.”
Beyond providing financial services, VyStar supports the Savannah region through community partnerships that strengthen education, family services, economic development and community well-being. The credit union works alongside organizations including the West Chatham YMCA, Shelter from the Rain and People of Action Caring for Kids, also known as P.A.C.K.
To mark the branch opening and community investment, VyStar presented a $5,000 donation to People of Action Caring for Kids (P.A.C.K.), a volunteer-run organization that provides weekend meal bags to food-insecure children throughout Chatham County. The donation reflects VyStar’s purpose to Do Good by supporting programs that strengthen families and help young people thrive.
